The fact about Life

*You hear it all the time: women saying all the good men are gone, and men swearing there are no good women left. But maybe the real problem is that a lot of us just don't recognize a good thing when we see it.

*Could be we're all carrying around some baggage from past letdowns, or maybe we've bought into all those unrealistic ideas about what love and partnership are supposed to look like. It feels like we're constantly comparing real life to some impossible standard, and when people don't measure up, we're quick to write them off.

*It's almost like we're looking for reasons to say "no" instead of reasons to say "yes." But being good doesn't mean being flawless. It's about the everyday ways someone shows up for you, listens to you, and supports you.

*So, maybe the issue isn't a worldwide shortage of decent people. Maybe we just need to get better at spotting the good ones right in front of us. Because trust me, they're there. We just have to start seeing them for who they really are.
